Why Stay With Your Cheating Spouse

Adultery Blog - How to Catch A Cheater > Cheating Adultery > Why Stay With Your Cheating Spouse

Tips:

Your spouse has been unfaithful, but you truly care for this person and are willing to do anything necessary to save your relationship.

You feel broken hearted, lonely and despondent.

You don't want to lose their friendship.

You think things will change.

You've put so much into the relationship.

You already know a lot about each other, especially the troublesome parts. If you start over with someone else, you will have to go through this painful experience again to learn the troublesome parts of that new relationship.

No one is perfect, so there will most likely be pain with somebody new. Eventually, you will arrive again at the place you are now with things to learn and problems to work out.

You will lose a lot of time with your children.

You will lose self-respect if you haven't tried hard to save the relationship.

You will spend a whole lot of money on lawyers for the divorce.

You will lose the combined income that makes life easier and allows you to pursue the goals you have planned over the years.

You will lose half of what you own.

You will lose all those in-laws you have come to love and are a part of your present support system.

You will lose many friends who will be too uncomfortable to continue the friendship.

You will lose someone to be with you when life gets difficult, especially when you grow old.

You will lose the joy of all the good memories. They seem to have to go to go on with life.

If the present relationship is not seriously destructive, you may lose a sense of security and personal confidence.

You can learn a great deal in the process of improving a troubled relationship that you probably will never, ever learn otherwise.

You will set an example for your children and grandchildren. When you learn to solve problems rather than "get after" one another, you teach your children and grandchildren a most valuable skill. Solving problems is the key to a successful life.
