The number of references on the web generalizing Colombian men as cheaters amazes me. Guess what?
The women cheat as well!
I was married to a gorgeous Colombian woman for four years.
I never cheated on her. Not a single time. I lived with her in Colombia.
She was a compulsive liar and cheated on me constantly.
In addition, most of her single girlfiends had wealthy married boyfiends in addition to their regular boyfriends.
Most of the married friends she had were also unfaithful to their husbands.
Money comes first to a beautiful Colombian woman.
After she has financial security she will get what she wants elsewhere if she is not happy at home.
Sex, money, and power are what Colombian men crave.
Both sexes cheat in Colombia.
When a Colombian wife/woman is not ín love'with their wealthy husband/boyfriend, they will seek out other men to satisfy their sexual and emotional needs and vice versa.
Just as a wealthy Colombian husband/man will use his money and power to get his sexual and maybe his emotional needs met.
It may sound as if I am generalizing, but that was my experience there.
Call it a a simple and hopefully not typical observation of a culture.
